Saturn Reconfigures In-House Flying Probe Testing
Tuesday, October 6, 2009 | Saturn Electronics

Saturn Electronics Corporation, bare PCB fabricator, recently reconfigured its PCB Electrical Testing process with a move that's still paying dividends to the Romulus manufacturer, as well as its customers. Combining six flying probes to include two Ultim8 4-head flying probe test systems with the acceler8 electromechanical scanner to build on proven capacitive test technology of the flying probe testers, Saturn increased advanced technologies, flexibility, pricing and quality.

This flying probe proficiency has resulted in the capacity for larger production runs with no impact on lead times, which, in turn, expands yields significantly.
